Death of the Author: Another Tale From the Spine

Reality eating abominations known as Authors herald the end of civilization. Bookworms that have tore out and consumed the very concepts of existence from the Spine, acquiring authorial authority over them. Humanity was forced to commit an unpardonable sin to stand a chance against them. By fusing human and bookworm we have created powerful Blasphemies that can bring us salvation.

You are one of the final Blasphemies we have left. Can you stand against the Authors and give us a future, or is this chapter of the Spine faded to oblivion.

This is a fiction focused game that has no game master and uses dice. Each player will control one of the final Blasphemies remaining as they fight against the Authors. The game lasts 3 rounds and in the end players will determine how successful they were at saving civilization.

This game also set in the Spine of Eternity, but it's a standalone game and not an expansion to Spine of Eternity: Everybody Wants to be a Star.

Death of the Author: Another Tale From the Spine is set to release in full in the middle of 2025.
