Spine of Eternity: Everybody Wants to be a Star

The Spine of Eternity, a massive spire that after much discussion has been agreed on by those who live there to have no beginning or ending. A land ruled by the laws of fiction where fame is power and perception is reality, where the most powerful get to live on postmortem as stars and influence the living.

Many accept early on that stardom is something only very few will ever reach. They hold on to the belief that there is a fundamental difference between the common folk and the stars.

But not you.

You will reach for the stars no matter that you will have to claw your way to the top. No matter that they told you good luck despite everyone knowing the system is rigged. No matter that they break you in ways that you will never recover from, that you will never be the same.

Nothing less than being equal to the stars will be enough for you.

Spine of Eternity: Everybody Wants to be a Star is a Powered by the Apocalypse Tabletop Role Playing Game about a modern fantasy setting where adventurers are streamers who travel the land to help the people, defeat tyrants and earn fame to reach the stars.

The game is currently in early access featuring 6 classes and 6 arcs that you can mix whoever you want. The final version will feature even more, but for now here are the featured ones:

Arcs

• Bound: You made a wish and unfortunately you were granted it. Now you must do the bidding of your Patron else they will take it back.
• Loose End: You saw something you shouldn't and now you have a Nemesis after you. Can you manage to bring them down before they end your story?
• Runaway Idol: You dreamed and worked hard to become an idol, but being treated like an object was not what you fought for. You ran away to make a name for yourself so you can be an idol in your own way.
• Lone Wolf: You work alone, except that you aren't doing that right now. Circumstances forces you to work with others and despite all your complains the stars seen to really like putting you in situations that demand helping and saving others.
• Monster: When you lose control others get hurt and treat you like a monster to be bound and culled. You might hate yourself for causing this, but you like living more and you like the prospect of one day being a star even more.
• Fool: Metaphors, allegories, proverbial sayings. All of them fly right by you and you often get in trouble by going to places where you shouldn't (have they considered you really want to go there?) or being manipulated by the ill intentioned.
• Bastion: You keep your party safe. You take hits for them, you take the blame for their mistakes and if someone is looking to fight them they have to go through you first. You do all that and then naturally you end up a wreck, but it's fine because you still always manage look awesome.
• Fading Flame: Your end is coming soon, be it death or something that will take away your freedom. You have already gone through all the stages of grief and accepted your end, but you want to enjoy the time you have left to the fullest.
• Legacy: Every dream adventurers have, your parents have already achieved them. They set out on a journey, became equal to the stars, had you and forged a path for you travel so that you would become as famous and powerful as they are. But you will walk your own path instead.

Classes:

• Contradigma: A martial artist who can break the lattice of fiction by reaching their fists and bending the narrative to their will.
• Literatech Engineer: A engineer accompanied by a Bound Machine Instigated by Literature, also known as a BESTIE, an android capable of incredible things powered by a resource recently developed into an energy source: Gutter.
• Thespian: An actor capable of embodying characters to a supernatural level by wearing Masks and becoming the persona they need to be in all their benefits and downsides.
• Oracle: A data analyst turned seer. Someone who understands about tropes and cliches so well they can see them coming from a proverbial mile away.
• Medium: Those who act as a bridge between the living and the stars. Capable of calling upon the power of the stars into their own body and later use their metaphorical silver tongue to explain to the stars why they can't pay their side of the bargain.
• Saint: Those who made an immaculate vow to help the poor and the needy, to share that which they have in access to those who don't have enough. But above everything you have vowed to face against the wicked who oppress the poor and hoard wealth while those around them suffer in poverty.
• Huntress: The bookworm are beasts that eat reality itself and the huntresses are the ones in charge of eliminating them with weapons gifted from the stars, Spoilers. But all gifts come with a price. Not only must you eliminate the bookworms, but you must look cool while doing so for the entertainment of an audience.
• Mayhem: Hard rock musicians wielding a guitar in one hand and a bass in the other, Mayhems turn a blind eye to their physical pain and put their hearts into songs that can manipulate the wills of others and reality itself.
• Damsel: Others fight with swords and spears, some get creative and make up weird ways to fight, but the damsels are the only ones who gets it. They know that vulnerability is the strongest weapon of all. Who in their right mind would attack a defenseless maiden? Their comrades would stop them, society would frown upon them, social media would ruin their reputation. And that's how you win.
